Hear the great albums, and music from around the world
For anyone who wants to hear the great albums, get out of the genres they already know, or away from what their streaming app keeps suggesting.
Pick a list and how many hours a day you want to listen. The site sets out each day's albums and works out when you will reach the end. The links under each album open it at Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Tidal or YouTube Music. With Tidal or Apple Music connected, it makes a playlist of the day's albums.
Tick off what you heard, give it stars, write what you think of it and say how it made you feel. What you heard counts on every list the album is on. The stats show how far you have come, with the genres and the days, by week, month or year. Connect Last.fm or ListenBrainz and what you play there comes in by itself. Connect MusicBrainz and your ratings and reviews go there too.
Beside the lists there is more to do with the music: games with the covers, collecting, listening together with others, odd numbers about what you heard, and now and then a record to win.
The lists and music from around the world
Every list is on the blog, with its albums and their covers. The music of many countries, their singers and bands across the genres, is in the World Music Directory, each with a few words.
