Queen's studio albums, 1973–1995
Queen were a rock band from London, formed in 1970 by the guitarist Brian May, the drummer Roger Taylor and the singer and pianist Freddie Mercury. The bassist John Deacon joined in 1971, and all four wrote songs for the band.
Sheer Heart Attack brought their first big hit, Killer Queen. A Night at the Opera holds Bohemian Rhapsody, and News of the World opens with We Will Rock You and We Are the Champions. The Game was the first of their albums with a synthesizer and has Another One Bites the Dust. Innuendo was the last to come out in Mercury's lifetime; he died in November 1991, and the other three finished Made in Heaven from his last recordings.
The list has 14 records from 1973 to 1995. Left out are the soundtrack Flash Gordon, the live albums such as Live Killers and Live Magic, the compilations such as Greatest Hits, The Cosmos Rocks, made with Paul Rodgers, and the members' own records. About 10 hours of music, 2 days of a few records each.
